Customers have a wide range of selection of residential lettings – from a typical farmhouse constructed in cream-coloured limestone, to luxurious villas. Most properties offer a wealth of features and facilities such as sunny terraces, secluded courtyards, gardens and private swimming pools. The majority of these properties are located in the Northern area of Malta and on Gozo.

Dhalia's primary intention is to provide unbiased and unequalled service to all landlords and tenants who seek their assistance when in the process of finding residential letting in the market, trying to match the most suitable properties to a tenant’s requirements. With this approach in mind, both tenant and landlord can look forward to a pleasant and comfortable relationship during the term of their tenancy, thus avoiding the disappointment that may easily arise for either party should tenants find themselves in an unsuitable property.

The majority of properties are furnished with fittings and appliances. Generally, water, electricity and cable TV are not included in the rental rate if it is a long-term let, that is, five months and over. These expenses are borne by the lessee on a consumption basis. Rental rates on average are extremely reasonable.

There are no expenses relating to the letting of property, except for estate agents' fees (usually half a month’s rent). It is accepted practice to lodge a sum equivalent to one month’s rent with the lessor as a deposit against breakages and outstanding bills. The deposit is refunded to the lessee upon the termination date of the lease, or is offset against any pending bills or damages to the inventory as agreed between the parties.
